Human Rights Policy

AIM

As Grand Halı, while carrying out our activities in different geographies, we aim to create a business environment that respects human rights and to increase the consciousness and awareness of our staff, customers and stakeholders by spreading this understanding.

In addition to our Business Ethics principles, as Grand Halı, we make our best efforts to fulfill the requirements of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, to which Turkey is a party, the basic principles of the International Labor Organization, and the international agreements to which our country is a party.

SCOPE

This policy covers our basic principles regarding human rights.

Suppliers, companies from which we receive external services; It covers individuals and organizations working on behalf of Grand Halı, including consultants, lawyers and external auditors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Board of Directors is responsible for the approval of the Human Rights Policy and the top oversight of the determination and operation of notification, review and sanction mechanisms in case of non-compliance with the regulations.
Our employees; Responsible for adhering to policies, regulations and procedures and working in compliance with applicable legislation.
The Human Resources Department is responsible for announcing and publishing this Policy to all personnel within the institution.
In case of any violation, notifications are forwarded to the Human Resources Department. The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for managing the relevant processes and reporting them to the upper management.

POLICY

Fundamental human rights within the scope of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and stated in the International Labor Organization’s Declaration of Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work; We are committed to respecting and implementing principles such as not using forced labor, child labor, non-discrimination, working hours and wages, collective bargaining and freedom of association.
We take care to treat our employees equally by offering them equal opportunities regardless of religion, language, race, age, color, nationality or social origin, or gender.
We do not tolerate all forms of forced labor (including prison labor, apprenticeships, bonded labor, military or slave labor, and all forms of human trafficking).

  • We are committed to providing our employees with a safe working environment free from all kinds of harassment, abuse, abuse or violence.
    We support our employees’ freedom to form associations, hold meetings, organize and collectively bargain within the framework of legally recognized unions.
    We prohibit the use of child labor in line with the principle of not employing child labor as set out in the International Labor Organization’s Declaration of Fundamental Labor Principles and Rights.
    We set preventive rules within the scope of protecting the personal information of our employees.
    Within the scope of Occupational Health and Safety, we take the necessary precautions by ensuring legal and physical conditions and offer employees a healthy work environment in every respect. Training and interim briefings are provided to increase employee awareness by giving due importance to this issue.
    Our workplace pays employees competitive wages based on the industry and the local labor market. Our applications; We carry out our work in full compliance with applicable laws and employment contracts regarding wages, working hours, overtime and side payments. We offer our employees opportunities to develop their skills and capacities and provide promotion opportunities whenever possible.
