Human Rights Policy

PURPOSE

As Grand Halı, we aim to create a work environment that respects human rights while carrying out our activities for different geographies and to increase the awareness and awareness of our personnel, customers and stakeholders by spreading this understanding.

In addition to our business ethics principles, as Grand Halı, we make the best effort to fulfill the basic principles of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Labor Organization, to which Turkey is a party, and the requirements of international conventions to which our country is a party.

SCOPE

This policy covers our basic principles on human rights.

It includes suppliers, companies from which we receive external services; people and organizations working on behalf of Grand Halı, including consultants, lawyers, external auditors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Board of Directors is responsible for the approval of the Human Rights Policy and for the superior supervision of the determination and operation of notification, examination and sanction mechanisms in case of non-compliance with the regulations.

Our employees are responsible for adhering to policies, regulations and procedures and working in accordance with the applicable legislation.

The Human Resources Department is responsible for announcing and publishing this policy to all personnel within the institution.

In case of any violation, the notifications are forwarded to the Human Resources Department. The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for managing the relevant processes and notifying the senior management.

POLITICS

We are committed to respecting and implementing the fundamental human rights within the scope of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Principles of Labour of the International Labour Organization’s Declaration of Fundamental Labour and Rights; such as forced labour, non-use of child labour, non-discrimination, working hours and wages, collective bargaining and freedom of association.

We take care to treat our employees equally by offering equal opportunities without discrimination of religion, language, race, age, color, nationality or social origin, gender.

We do not tolerate all forms of forced labour (including work in prison, apprenticeship contract, debt-for-for-ded labour, military labor or slave labour, and all kinds of human trafficking).

We commit to provide our employees with a safe and free working environment from all kinds of harassment, abuse, abuse or violence.

We support the freedom of our employees to establish associations, hold meetings, organize and collective bargaining within the framework of trade unions recognized by law.

We prohibit child labor in line with the principle of non-child labor established in the Basic Business Principles and Declaration of Rights of the International Labour Organization.

We set preventive rules within the scope of protecting the personal information of our employees.

Within the scope of Occupational Health and Safety, we take the necessary precautions and provide a healthy work environment to the employees in every respect by providing the necessary precautions. Training and interim information are provided to increase employee awareness by showing due importance to this issue.

Our workplace gives competitive wages to its employees according to the sector and the local labor market. We carry out our applications in full compliance with applicable laws and employment contracts regarding wages, working hours, overtime and side payments. We offer opportunities to our employees to improve their skills and capacities, and we offer opportunities to rise as much as possible.
